Dr. Williams is a Harvard trained physician, board certified in Internal Medicine. In addition to working as a Physician and the Medical Director for Community Health Center of the North Country, Dr. Williams has privileges at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. He plays a leadership role at Canton-Potsdam Hospital where he is the Associate Medical Director, Assistant Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine, the Physician Champion for the CPOE project, and the chairman of the Utilization Review/Medical Records Committee.
Dr. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and is also on the advisory board for Clarkson University's Physician Assistant Program.
Dr. Williams has received numerous awards and honors for his academic achievement and in recognition of his teaching skills, including Fellowship in the American College of Physicians, AOA medical honor society, Arthur W. Bauman Award for Outstanding Teacher in the Dept of Medicine, Lawrence A. Kohn Senior Teaching Fellow Award, Outstanding Health Care Provider - Navajo Area Director's Award. Dr. Williams is an active member of 3 different medical societies: American College of Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, and American Society of Echocardiography.
Georgia is a native of the North Country and joined our team after practicing in Ogdensburg since 1998. She originally received her Nursing degree from SUNY Canton in 1982, and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998. She has great instincts and a desire to focus on preventive care and health education. Currently accepting new patients.
Christine originally attended SUNY Canton to earn her Associate of Science and Registered Professional Nursing degrees. Following graduation she attended the University of Phoenix where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. After those years in Arizona, Christine returned East to work on her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating from Stony Brook University in 2012. Most recently she worked at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and with Dr. Tracy Laflair in Ogdensburg. A member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and New York State Nurses Association, she resides in Canton, and is happy to now be practicing closer to home. Donna joined our team after spending a number of years as a Registered Nurse at Canton Potsdam Hospital, St. Lawrence Addiction Treatment Center, and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Canton in 2011 and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017.
Christine is the newest member of our team, and joins us after many years serving the Ogdensburg area with Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, and Dr. Juan Diego and Dr. Ross Dickstein at Pain Management and Palliative Care. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from SUNY Canton in 2005, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. Christine went on to receiver her Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from SUNY Polytechnic. She looks forward to seeing patients of all ages here at our Canton health center.
Dr. Hollis spent her undergraduate years at Clarkson University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in psychology, in 2004. While at Clarkson she earned the Department of Biology Award, acted as a Forensics Team Design-Mentor and resident adviser, volunteered for the Special Olympics, was a member of the Society of Professional Women, and was a member of the co-ed medical fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon.
In in 2008, Dr. Hollis graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Turner earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University in 2009; she went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Prior to joining our team Dr. Turner practiced in South Carolina and Florida, and has experience in both private practice and hospital settings. Originally from the Bronx, she wanted to be closer to her large family, but practice in a more rural setting and help under-served communities.
Dr. Outlaw joined our team in 2018. She is a compassionate dentist with a background in special education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006 before attending Howard University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2017. Just prior to joining us she also received Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Howard University.
Dr. Saleem received his medical degree from the World University School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic in 1985, followed by post-graduate residency training in Psychiatry at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. He has broad-based and comprehensive clinical experience in Psychiatry, with inpatient as well as outpatient services. Dr. Saleem has practiced for many years in the North Country, at locations that include Carthage Area Hospital, Samaritan Medical Center, St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
Jackie is the newest member of our Behavioral Health team. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 2011. Jackie went on from there to receive her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015 and her Doctor of Nursing in 2016. Finally in 2018 she obtained her Post-Masters Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Debra earned her Master of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration with Specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy from the University of Maryland in 1990. Prior to joining our team Debra spent over ten years working as a child, adolescent, and family therapist for the St. Lawrence County Mental Health Clinic.
Yvonne is one of the newest members of our Behavioral Health team. She earned her Master's Degree as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2017 from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Yvonne has been providing care at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, operated by Transitional Living Services of Northern New York, since June of 2017, and has also held numerous positions on Fort Drum, including Army Public Health Nurse. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Anne earned her Master of Social Work from Syracuse University in 1988 while working as a Social Worker and a Child Care Worker at Elmcrest Children's Center in Syracuse, New York. She has also previously worked at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center as a Psychologist Assistant and a Social Worker, and worked several years at St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES as a Certified School Social Worker.
Dr. Ludlow graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1999, ranking 17th out of a class of 140. He is a dedicated professional with 17 years of experience, most recently on base at Fort Drum and with Center for Sight. He works on-site with our current Optician, which enables our team to integrate exam and optical all in one convenient location for you, the patient.
