Dr. Williams is a Harvard trained physician, board certified in Internal Medicine. In addition to working as a Physician and Chief Medical Officer for Community Health Center of the North Country, he is also the Associate Chief Medical Officer at St. Lawrence Health Systems and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
Dr. Williams has received numerous awards and honors for his academic achievement, most recently the 2020 Dr. Gary Ogden Rural Health Practitioner of the Year Award. He is an active member of 3 different medical societies: American College of Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, and American Society of Echocardiography.
Georgia is a native of the North Country and joined our team after practicing in Ogdensburg since 1998. She originally received her Nursing degree from SUNY Canton in 1982, and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998. She has great instincts and a desire to focus on preventive care and health education. Currently accepting new patients.
Hillary is brand new to our Ogdensburg Health Center, and will start her career with our team on July 6th. She is the latest in a number of providers who are actually North Country natives, and have decided to follow their passion by providing care in their hometown. Hillary graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 2006 and went on to receive her BS in Nursing from Hartwick College in 2010, and her M.S. Family Nurse Practitioner degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Prior to joining our CHCNC team, Hillary worked for both Canton-Potsdam Hospital and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, as well as for American Mobile Healthcare as a Traveling Nurse.
Danyelle is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999 and later received her Masters in Nursing at Drexel University in Pennsylvania in 2020. With a decades worth of experience in Cardiac healthcare, providing care at places such as St. Joseph Regional Health Network and St. Luke's University Health Network, Danyelle is also a member of the American Heart Association. With a passion for preventive health and wellness, Danyelle is excited to be providing care in our rural North Country communities.
Dr. Fraser is the newest member of our dental team. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Pennsylvania State University in 1998, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. She has previously practiced at Midwest Dental in both Miller Place, NY and Delhi, NY, as well as at Clayton Dental and the Carthage Community Dental Clinic. With experience working in different rural areas throughout New York State, Dr. Fraser understands the dire need for more access to dental care, and is excited to start serving our North Country communities.
Dr. Nicholas Gardner has practiced dentistry in Gouverneur since 2005. Growing up in Rossie, Dr. Gardner, starting at age 12, told his family, friends and anyone that would listen about his dreams of becoming a dentist. Nick earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Le Moyne College in 1998. Dr. Gardner earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2004. Moving back to New York, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at The University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital.
Greg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has many years of experience caring for clients across our North Country communities. He provides Psychotherapy, Case Management, and Crisis Intervention to individuals, families, and groups with emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Greg's clients include children, adolescents, and adults. Greg fully believes all helping is done through relationships and not only looks forward to helping clients on an individual basis, but also providing supervisory leadership to our entire behavioral health and substance use team. Prior to joining us, Greg worked at the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services in Canton, along with Step By Step, Catholic Charities, Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, Northern Border Counseling Services, and the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, all in Ogdensburg. In 2003, Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy and was on the President's List at SUNY Potsdam. He followed that up in 2010 by receiving his Master Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. He is a member of the Phi-Alpha Honor Society - Zeta Gamma Chapter, and the National Association of Social Workers.
Glenda has been providing care to residents of the North Country for over a decade, and prior to joining our team was most recently a Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Privacy Officer for Catholic Charities in Ogdensburg. She received her BA from SUNY Potsdam in 1999, and then went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University in 2001. Glenda is currently a member of the National Association of Social Workers and will be seeing clients on Tuesday's from 8-4.
