Dr. Williams is a Harvard trained physician, board certified in Internal Medicine. In addition to working as a Physician and Chief Medical Officer for Community Health Center of the North Country, he is also the Associate Chief Medical Officer at St. Lawrence Health Systems and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
Dr. Williams has received numerous awards and honors for his academic achievement, most recently the 2020 Dr. Gary Ogden Rural Health Practitioner of the Year Award. He is an active member of 3 different medical societies: American College of Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, and American Society of Echocardiography.
Georgia is a native of the North Country and joined our team after practicing in Ogdensburg since 1998. She originally received her Nursing degree from SUNY Canton in 1982, and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998. She has great instincts and a desire to focus on preventive care and health education. Currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Fraser is the newest member of our dental team. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Pennsylvania State University in 1998, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. She has previously practiced at Midwest Dental in both Miller Place, NY and Delhi, NY, as well as at Clayton Dental and the Carthage Community Dental Clinic. With experience working in different rural areas throughout New York State, Dr. Fraser understands the dire need for more access to dental care, and is excited to start serving our North Country communities.
Dr. Nicholas Gardner has practiced dentistry in Gouverneur since 2005. Growing up in Rossie, Dr. Gardner, starting at age 12, told his family, friends and anyone that would listen about his dreams of becoming a dentist. Nick earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Le Moyne College in 1998. Dr. Gardner earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2004. Moving back to New York, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at The University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital.
