Certified Coder

Our expanding network of Health Centers requires two full time Certified Coders. Job duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing and analyzing health records to identify relevant diagnosis, reviewing procedures for distinct patient encounters, and conducting a review of records to ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines as well as governmental regulations. This position requires a Certified Coder certification through AAPC or AHIMA and advanced computer skills to include: EMR, Word, Excel, and Access. Both positons will be based in Canton.

We are seeking a Psychiatrist and/or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis with recommendations for treatment, prescribe medications as conditions indicate and conduct follow-ups with recommendations for any changes to Treatment Plans. The successful candidate will be part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary health care team made up of licensed clinicians, LCSWs, nurses and case managers and will work with the team to provide quality care to the individuals served.

This position, based in Malone, will be responsible for providing and documenting participant-centered nutrition education, be responsive to the identified needs/interests of participants, facilitate groups as needed, and promote healthy lifestyle planning, including physical activity options in the clinic and community. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting participants in their decision to breastfeed, referring to the Enhanced Peer Counselor Program, and assist in providing a breastfeeding-friendly environment. This position will also perform hematology testing and anthropometry testing as needed The candidate we are looking for must be a quick learner, be adaptable to change, and have the ability to be a resourceful problem solver.

Requirements: Registered Nutrition and Dietetic Technician OR Registered Nurse with Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate health-related field with at least six credit hours in nutrition. A valid driver's license is required, in addition to flexibility in work hours, which include working evenings, Saturdays, and traveling to trainings as assigned. Must be available to travel between St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties.

Our team seeks candidates for the position of Health Center Incentives Coordinator. This position will be responsible for continuously researching and obtaining knowledge of all incentive programs and their requirements.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. Two years of medical office experience is required. Medical billing and coding experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include working knowledge of medical terminology and incentive program requirements, and effective verbal and written communication skills. Position requires one year in a medical related field, office setting, or specialized education in a medical or business office field. Our team seeks qualified candidates for the position of Staff Accountant. This position based in Canton will assist in the coordination of daily activities of the finance department as well as provide general accounting responsibilities. The position requires an Associate's Degree in Accounting,Bachelor of Science in Accounting is preferred. Related field and a minimum of three to five years accounting experience required. Experience in accounting computer applications and in a non-profit setting as well as knowledge of health centers and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) preferred.
