Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director this position provides administrative support for the Executive Director and other members of the senior management team. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, this position shall perform duties such as coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, working on special projects, answering non-routine correspondence and assembling highly confidential and sensitive information. Additionally, this position deals with a diverse group of external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload as well as recommend changes in office practices and procedures.
Requirements: An Associate’s Degree as an Executive or Administrative Assistant or related field as well as 3 or more years of previous office experience. One year of supervisory experience is preferred. This position will require some evening hours for Committee and Board Meetings. Candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Publisher.

Community Health Center of the North Country seeks a motivated individual for the position of Case Manager. Located in Gouverneur, this position will work with the Director of Communications and Marketing and other Health Center staff to market services to the uninsured/under-insured people in the area through health fairs, screenings, social media, radio, and TV ads. This person will also serve as a liaison between the health center and other treatment providers, community groups and social service agencies.
An Associate’s Degree in a health or human service field required. Knowledge of available community resources and their organization, purpose and use also required.
Our expanding network of Health Centers requires two full time Certified Coders. Job duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing and analyzing health records to identify relevant diagnosis, reviewing procedures for distinct patient encounters, and conducting a review of records to ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines as well as governmental regulations.
