Billing & Collections Specialist

Our health centers are growing, and our team is currently recruiting for the position of Billing and Collections Specialist. This position will work out of our Canton location. Duties include performing accurate and timely billing as well as collection of payments for all billable Health Center services. Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience in medical billing is preferred.

Our team is currently seeking candidates for a Dentist for both our Canton and our Ogdensburg locations. We currently operate three Federally Qualified Health Centers and will open our fourth, a brand new $4 million dollar state of the art facility this fall. Our team is currently looking for a per diem Ophthalmic Dispenser (Optician) in our Canton Health Center. The candidate selected for this position will work 2 days per week and will assist our optometrist with patients, schedule patient appointments, and dispense eyeglasses. A New York State license in Ophthalmic Dispensing is required. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Our team is currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis with recommendations for treatment, prescribe medications as conditions indicate, and conduct follow-ups. This is a 22.5 hour per week position with hours generally being on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Clinical experience is preferred. WIC Qualified Nutritionist

WIC Qualified Nutritionist

Our team currently seeks candidates for a Qualified Nutritionist for our WIC program, who will provide services in both St. Lawrence and Franklin counties. This individual will support the mission, goals and objectives of Community Health Center of the North Country by improving nutritional services in the WIC Program. This staff person will follow standards for the assessment process used to determine WIC eligibility, and personalize nutrition education, high risk care plans, referrals, and tailoring of food packages.

Requirements include a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Nutrition along with flexibility in work hours, which includes working evenings and Saturdays, attending trainings as assigned, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must have the ability to travel between St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties.

Registered Dietician (RD/RDN) preferred.
