Our team is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant in our Canton Health Center. This position will monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications, including: calls and emails for the Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Development Manager and the Practice Manager. The Administrative Assistant coordinates travel, meetings and event arrangements as necessary for the Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Development Manager, and Practice Manager. An Associates Degree in an office or business field preferred, or a minimum of 5 years Administrative Assistant/office experience is required.

Billing & Collections Specialist

Billing & Collections Specialist

Our health centers are growing, and our team is currently recruiting for the position of Billing and Collections Specialist. This position will work out of our Canton location. Duties include performing accurate and timely billing as well as collection of payments for all billable Health Center services. Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience in medical billing is preferred.

Billing Supervisor

Billing Supervisor

Community Health Center of the North Country seeks candidates for the position of Billing Supervisor. This position will be responsible for the oversight of the entire Health Center billing cycle. Requirements include seven to ten years progressive experience in healthcare. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or healthcare preferred. Supervisory and billing experience also preferred. Additional qualifications include excellent problem solving and decision making skills, ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with patient and provider information, and excellent organization, computer and information management skills. Knowledge of and/or experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred.

The Triage and Care Coordination Nurse will be part of a healthcare team supporting general care processes alongside a number of providers. This nurse will perform care coordination and professional nurse functions to assess the severity of a patient's expressed health concerns. They will also serve as a liaison between healthcare managers, community health workers, hospital staff and primary care providers to ensure patients with chronic care conditions receive quality services, meeting their healthcare needs. WIC Qualified Nutritionist - Franklin County

WIC Qualified Nutritionist - Franklin County

Our team currently seeks candidates for a Qualified Nutritionist for our WIC program, based out of our Malone location. This individual will support the mission, goals and objectives of Community Health Center of the North Country, by improving nutritional services in the WIC Program. This staff person will follow standards for the assessment process used to determine WIC eligibility, and personalize nutrition education, high risk care plans, referrals, and tailoring of food packages.

Requirements: Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Nutrition, along with flexibility in work hours which includes working evenings and Saturdays, attending trainings as assigned, and a valid driver's license for travel between St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties.

Registered Dietician (RD/RDN) preferred.
