Clinical Operations Director

Clinical Operations Director

The Clinical Operations Director works in close partnership with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance, as well as all Program Directors at our Federally Qualified Health Centers. In partnership with senior staff, candidate is responsible for the implementation of quality efforts of the health center and will ensure the organization is meeting state and federal healthcare compliance requirements. They will promote staff retention through professional development and will be responsible for implementing staff training and in-service programs. Working with current community partners and developing new partnerships will be a priority to ensure the organization is effectively meeting the needs of the underserved in our community.

A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management or related field is required; a Master's Degree and RN Certification preferred. Five years of high-level management is required, preferably in a rural primary healthcare setting. Candidate will have a demonstrated track record of strategic and operational healthcare leadership, preferably in a Community Health Center setting. Must have a thorough understanding of quality improvement processes, tools, and techniques; quality measures and reporting; root cause analysis and preventative risk management strategies; and state and federal regulations.

This position will be responsible for maintaining a variety of healthcare and business systems and directly providing support to end users. Ideal applicants for this position should be able to configure Microsoft and VMWare-based server systems in a complex multisite business environment. Community Health Center of the North Country seeks enthusiastic candidates for the position of a WIC CPA. This individual will work for both our St. Lawrence and Franklin County WIC offices, and will be working mainly with infants, pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum mothers, focusing on nutrition and heights/weights. This person will be responsible for providing and documenting any participant-centered nutrition education responsive to the identified needs/interests of participants, and promote healthy lifestyle plans, including physical activity options in the clinic and community. This person will also be responsible for clerical duties as well. Requirements: Registered Nutrition and Dietetic Technician OR Registered Nurse with Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate health-related field with at least six credit hours in nutrition. A valid driver's license is required, in addition to flexibility in work hours, which include working evenings, Saturdays, and traveling to trainings as assigned. Must be available to travel between St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties.
