COMMUNITY IMPACT
Community Health Centers provide high quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care to all members of the communities they serve regardless of income levels or insurance status. Whether your income is $10,000/year or $110,000/year, you can use the services health centers provide, but we do ensure the most vulnerable populations have access to care. Health Centers serve 1 in 7 Medicaid beneficiaries, almost 1 in 3 individuals in poverty, and 1 in 5 low-income, uninsured persons. Recent studies show , on average, each patient receiving care at a health center saved the healthcare system 24%, annually. With 13,200 patients served by our team in 2022, the annual savings just here in the North Country are extensive.
ECONOMIC IMPACT
As health centers expand, our expenditures and corresponding economic impact also grow. In 2022 alone, Community Health Center of the North Country contributed about $16.5 million dollars.
